All Veterinary Technician positions are filled at this time.
Countryside Veterinary Hospital is looking for 1-2 reliable, full-time Veterinary Technicians with experience in anesthesia and assisting in surgeries to join our team. Starting pay is $15.00+ depending on experience. Our veterinary technicians work 4 days a week.
Basic responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Operating medical equipment such as oxygen machines, anesthesia machines, ultrasound and x-ray equipment, autoclaves, etc.
- Administering fluids
- Drawing and preparing blood, urine, and fecal samples for lab work
- Animal restraint
- Assisting the Veterinarians in surgical and dental procedures
- Sterilizing surgical equipment/using an autoclave
- Standard cleaning duties in exam rooms and treatment areas
- Assisting the Veterinarians in exam rooms, taking vitals, starting the patient's medical record, nail trim, etc.
- Filling prescription medications
- Answering phones and checking clients in and out when needed
- Discharging surgery patients
Applicants MUST have previous Veterinary Technician experience. Candidates without a minimum of 1 year working experience will not be considered, job shadows and internships are not included in our definition of working experience.

- Answering a multi-line phone
- Scheduling appointments
- Checking clients in and out for their appointments
- Cash handling and operating a credit card machine
- Counting and managing a till
- Taking messages and prescription refill requests
- Making reminder calls for appointments and vaccination reminders
- Providing top of the line customer service to our clients and their pets
Veterinary reception experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right person!

Countryside Veterinary Hospital is currently looking for a responsible, reliable individual to join our team as a weekend kennel attendant. Hours are as follows:
All of our kennel attendant positions are currently filled, but we are accepting resumes for potential future positions. Hours are as follows:
Saturdays 7:30am-12:00pm; 4:00pm-6:00pm
Sundays 7:30am-10:00am; 4:00pm-6:00pm
Holidays 7:30am-10:00am; 4:00pm-6:00pm
Starting pay is $10.00 per hour but is negotiable based on candidate skills and experience. Our ideal candidate is someone that has animal experience (although we are willing to train the right person), is dependable and is dedicated to showing up every weekend, and cares for both animals and people.
Responsibilities include:
- Showing up on time to your shift
- Cleaning and setting up kennels
- Scheduling boarding reservations
- Checking boarding reservations in and out
- Walking dogs
- Cleaning litter boxes for feline boarders
- Ensuring all pets are fed and have water
- Giving medications to pets as needed
- Ensuring all pets are safe and comfortable while their owners are away
