Associate Veterinarian

Countryside Veterinary Hospital is looking for a full-time or part-time small animal veterinarian to join our busy 4 doctor practice in Idaho Falls, ID. We pride ourselves on providing high-quality medicine and customer service, while making lasting connections with our clients.
Candidates must have a compassionate attitude, excellent communication skills, and enjoy the challenges of exceptional patient care. Besides a competitive salary, we offer: a 401K with employer matching, health insurance benefits, paid vacation, licensing and professional dues, a generous CE allowance, no weekend or after-hour on-call emergencies. We are equipped with digital radiography, digital dental radiography, in-house blood CBC/chemistry analyzers, a rigid endoscope/ear scope, ultrasound, a Tonopen, surgical and therapeutic lasers, Behr huggers, IV pumps, and everything you need to practice quality veterinary medicine.
Idaho Falls is a community of over 50,000 situated in southeastern Idaho. There are bountiful recreation opportunities in close proximity - fly fishing, white water rafting, hiking, climbing, mountain biking, etc. We are less than 100 miles away from Yellowstone National Park and less than 90 miles from Grand Teton National Park. Jackson Hole Ski Resort and Grand Targhee Ski Resort are within an hour and a half’s drive from Idaho Falls.

Veterinary Technician
Countryside Veterinary Hospital does not currently have any openings for veterinary technicians or assistants, but we are happy to review resumes from experienced veterinary technicians.

Veterinary Receptionist
All Veterinary Receptionist positions are filled at this time.
Responsibilities include:
Answering a multi-line phone
Scheduling appointments
Checking clients in and out for their appointments
Cash handling and operating a credit card machine
Counting and managing a till
Taking messages and prescription refill requests
Making reminder calls for appointments and vaccination reminders
Providing top of the line customer service to our clients and their pets
Veterinary reception experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right person!

Kennel Attendant
Countryside Veterinary Hospital is currently looking for a responsible, reliable individual to join our team as a weekend kennel attendant. Hours are as follows:
Saturdays 7:30am-12:00pm; 4:00pm-6:00pm
Sundays 7:30am-10:00am; 4:00pm-6:00pm
Holidays 7:30am-10:00am; 4:00pm-6:00pm
Starting pay is $10.00 per hour but is negotiable based on candidate skills and experience. Our ideal candidate is someone that has animal experience (although we are willing to train the right person), is dependable and is dedicated to showing up every weekend, and cares for both animals and people.
Responsibilities include:
Showing up on time to your shift
Cleaning and setting up kennels
Scheduling boarding reservations
Checking boarding reservations in and out
Walking dogs
Cleaning litter boxes for feline boarders
Ensuring all pets are fed and have water
Giving medications to pets as needed
Ensuring all pets are safe and comfortable while their owners are away
